I'm most excited about having my own cute little puppy, to be honest. That should take away some of the loneliness factor. Being alone or it being too quiet is one reason why I never have lived alone. But I feel like I should try it. I think it will be a good thing. :)

That sounds really cool. I've always lived with someone too. I'm not sure how good I'd do living on my own, but I really want to experience it as well. That freedom. I'm not sure I'd be bothered with furniture choices and such, but just knowing I could go it alone kind of thing. Almost like a frontier experience :D But I definitely don't see myself living alone forever.

Except for sophomore yr in college when I had a single room in the dorm but lived across the hall from my then best friend and it was more like just my room in a shared apt than my own apt, I have never ever lived alone. I got half of a taste of it couple yrs ago when I lived with a random craigslist guy, so we never saw each other, but I still had to live by his rules, since I was subletting from him. I am planning on it within the next year or 2… after I move out of my current apartment (I just moved here in aug, so not too soon…). I was thinking like you, how it would be to have sole choice in picking out everything. My dishes, my appliances, my decorations… I can put everything where I want, and I can dance around naked if I wanted to lol (I might get chilly!). On the other hand it will likely be very lonely. No one to watch tv with, chat with, share a meal with, to just hear as background noise in the next room… it’s a toss up but prob something everyone should do at some point. Hope you get your cute puppy! :)
