13 Days
I have 13 days left in Vermont before I travel back home to Tennessee. 13 days left to do all the things I still need to do while I’m here, like buying Vermonty Christmas presents for people and going snowboarding. Well, snowboarding might not happen considering the warm weather that is delaying the mountain’s opening, but I have a long list of other things I need or want to do before I get on a plane back to Memphis. Just 13 days left to do it all.

I’m big on goal setting these days, so I’m going to write out some goals I would like to accomplish.
In the next 13 days I want to…
Hit 500 subcribers on my healthy living blog. I’m 10 away. So, if you feel like going over there and subscribing (by rss or e-mail) that would be cool! I know a weight loss blog isn’t everyone’s thing. Not everyone cares to read about things related to weight loss and fitness, but if you do, thanks.
Finish uploading videos for Green Mountain at Fox Run’s youtube page. This is part of the work I’ve been doing up here in Vermont. I’m pretty happy with what I’ve managed to do, considering I have basically zero video experience. It has bee a nice learning experience that will be over in 13 days. (Hurray!) Figure out my living arrangements in Memphis. I keep putting this off because frankly I don’t want to find a place to live. But it needs to happen because I am coming back in just 13 days. Maybe if I just keep repeating the time frame to myself it will sink in so I finally decide to make things happen. Anyone want to house me? Please?
(I’m not even going to mention that fact that I need to find some sort of temporary work while I’m home. It’s almost too much to worry about since I’ll only be there about a month before I set off to travel to New Zealand.)
Besides a bit of shopping, packing, and giving away cards and presents to the people I grew close to here, those are the main things I need to take care of or want to do in the next 13 days. I also want to have some fun, because I’m loving Vermont and the people here. And there is a birthday to celebrate. Hurray!

is it your birthday? i subscribed btw..i usually just go to the site but since you have a goal i subscribed too :) 500 wow, congrats on that thats great!! maple sugar candy is a good vt type gift for people. i dont think any other place makes it as well. and maple syrup.
Thanks! Yeah, you always come every couple of days to comment. It's just a random goal, something to shoot for. :) It makes me write better, or at least try to, when I know a lot of people are reading.
Maple sugar candy and maple syrup are definitely two things I'm buying this weekend to take home to people. They will love it!
